First, set the O-ring spacer at the sensor's circumference, so that the part facing the rear fascia is narrow and meets the outer part of the sensor while the wide side sits against the sensor housing. Then, connect and hold the sensor firmly in the sensor bracket at the back of the rear bumper fascia until the locks from the bracket are over both top and bottom latch tabs on the sensor, with the sensor membrane level with the external side of the fascia. Properly placing and centering each sensor membrane within the openings of the rear fascia and leaving the O-ring spacers un-pinched, are essential, since wrong centering or shredded O-rings may hamper the parking assist distance sensors. Then, join the wire harness connector once again with the one on the back of the fascia. Once finished, install the rear wheel flare and the attached bumper fascia on the same side of the car and attach the negative
Battery Cable.
