Lower the front spring compressor DD-1278 through the lower suspension arm and coil spring, then place the convoluted end against the lower suspension arm, securing it with a nut in the shock hole. Do not tighten the spring compressor nut at all, only screw it down lightly until it touches the bell-shaped adapter finger. Pull out the steering knuckle and the stabilizer link and remove the lower control arm support. Collapse the coil spring using the tool and if the pivot bolt doesn't release the control arm, loosen the bolt to let it swing down. As the tension eases, watch the lower suspension arm move downward and after that, take away the spring compressor tool. After that, remove both the coil spring and isolator pad from the vehicle.
