How to install the lower control arm on Dodge Ram 1500?

Be sure to fit the small bushing on the top of the frame and the large bushing on the bottom side of the axle. Set the lower control arm onto the vehicle next. After that, set the lower control arm bolt (1) into the axle hole and thread the nut onto it loosely. After that, add the lower control arm bolt and nut (2) onto the frame and do not tighten for now. Place the parking brake cable guide in position, insert the guide bolt (3) into the guide and tighten the left side only to 20 Nm (15 ft.lbs.). Afterward, remove the fixture holding the axle, take the support away and slowly lower the vehicle. Lastly, attach the lower control arm bolts with a torque force of 305 Nm (225 ft.lbs.).

How to remove the rear suspension's lower control arm on Dodge Ram 1500?

First, raise and support the vehicle and then install a suitable fixture around the rear axle so you can support it. The next step is to extract the parking brake cable guide bolt on the left alone, proceed to take out the lower control arm bolt (1) and nut at the axle and then remove bolts (2) from the control arm on the frame. Afterward, pull out the lower control arm from the car.
