How to service and repair the front door window motor on Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

Start by separating and blocking the battery's negative cable to fix or repair the front door window motor. Take out the trim panel at the inside edge of the front door. After that, pull the power window motor wire harness connector retainer from the front door module's mounting hole and remove the connector. Detach the front door module's power window motor and mechanism assembly by taking out all three holding screws and then take the unit out. Attach the power window motor to the front door module and screw it in place with a torque of 11 Nm (98 in. lbs.). Attach the wire connector to the window motor, slot the door trim panel back in and then reaffix the battery negative cable.
