How to service and repair the rear Door Latch Assembly on the rear cargo doors on Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

When fixing or repairing the rear door latch, first open the rear cargo door and take out the trim panel from inside the door. Remove the outside handle latch rod, lock cylinder latch rod, inside handle latch rod, lock motor latch rod and lock knob latch rod from the latch. Following that, take off the door latch screws on the inside and remove the door latch. To install, put the latch on the door's inner side panel and attach the rods again. Attach each end of the latch to its screw through the inner side of the door, verify the latch's movement and then put the door trim panel in place.
