    How to service and repair the Front Door Striker on Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

    To attend to the front latch striker, you will need to unplug the forward side of the B-Pillar. Subsequently, remove the nut from the lower latch striker stud located inside the door pillar. Ensure that the nut does not fall into the pillar. Next, remove the screw of the upper latch striker from the door pillar and take the striker off the door pillar. While installing, place the striker on the door pillar and install the upper latch striker screw without tightening him. In the same way, the nut for the lower latch striker stud is fitted to the door pillar and not tightened. Tighten inner nut to 22 N.m (200 in.lbs) torque by fully closing door, which will adjust striker accordingly. When the door is open, tighten the upper screw to 11 N.m (95 in. lbs.) torque and install the B-Pillar plug.
