Before you start on the seal, remove the axle shaft. After that, pry the axle shaft seal out with a pry bar from the end of the axle tube. Prior to installation, ensure you remove any old sealer or bends from the inside of the axle tube. Place some axle lubricant on the lip and use Installer 9343 and Handle C-4171 to put the seal into place. In the end, install the axle shaft again.
