The first step for cruise control switch service is to disconnect the negative
Battery Cable. Remove the multi-function switch and you'll find that the speed control switch is mounted to its backside. Next, remove the screw holding the switch to its mount, disconnect the speed control switch from the multi-function switch and take out the pigtail electrical connector from the instrument panel connection. To mount the speed control switch, attach it to the back of the multi-function switch using the screw and stick to the torque regulations. Attach the multi-function switch to where it belongs and reattach the pigtail electrical connector to the wiring harness, making certain the wires are not getting pinched. Lastly, secure the battery's negative cable to its terminal.
