How to Maintain a Windshield Washer Nozzle on Dodge Dakota?

Before you do anything to the windshield washer spray nozzle, take off the wiper arms from the wiper pivots and then unlatch the hood. After that, take off the cover or grille over the cowl plenum. From the hidden underside of the cowl plenum cover/grille panel, release the washer nozzle hose from the barbed nipple of the washer nozzle. Let go of the integral latch and slide the washer nozzle outward through the mounting hole in the cowl plenum cover/grille panel and then remove it. To install, maneuver the washer nozzle with the nipple facing downward so the anti-rotation tab engages into the anti-rotation key-ways from the mounting hole on top of the cowl plenum cover/grille panel. Using a moderate amount of pressure on the top of the washer nozzle, press the latch at the bottom of the cowl plenum cover into place. Now, connect the hose from the washer to the nozzle's barbed nipple again and slide the hose into its holding clips below. In the end, align and latch the cowl plenum cover/grille over the cowl plenum, fasten the hood and set each wiper arm into the fitting on its pivot.

How to Install a Windshield Washer Nozzle on Dodge Ram 1500?

Making sure the tabs on the washer nozzle fit into the holes in the panel, align the washer nozzle with the mounting hole. Firmly hold down on the top of the washer nozzle until you feel the clips at the bottom of the hood secure the waste pipe to the drain. After that, attach the washer hose fitting to the backside of the barbed washer nozzle. Push the washer nozzle hose into the clips found underneath the hood and then place the push-in retainers over the rear edge of the silencer pad to attach it to the hood's inner reinforcement.
