How to Remove and Install an Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on Jeep Cherokee?

The IMT sensor is in the intake manifold plenum close to the throttle body. Remove the electrical connector from the IMT sensor first and then remove the sensor from the intake manifold to remove the sensor. Place the IMT sensor into the intake manifold and torque to 28 Nm (20 foot lbs.) and reconnect the electrical connector to the sensor.
