    While installing the battery tray, make sure you first check and clean both it and the battery system. In the right front corner of the engine compartment, put the battery tray and support unit with no hoses or wire harnesses trapped or twisted. Attach the rear of the battery tray to the stud on the front frame rail by inserting one nut and torquing the end to 7 Nm (65 in. lbs.). After that, install one screw through the outboard side of the battery tray to the left inner Fender and tighten it to 7 Nm (65 in. lbs.). Following this, fit your two screws tightly into the inner fender and Radiator Support bracket so they reach 7 Nm (65 in. lbs.). Make sure to fit the battery wire harness three pin connector into the battery tray first, then set the battery onto the tray.
