First, take out the air filter tube from the throttle body, next remove the electrical connectors from the IAC motor and TPS. Remove every control line attaching to the throttle body lever arm, disconnect the needed vacuum lines and remove the three mounting bolts. Once the throttle body is detached, check the state of the old O-ring at the meeting between the throttle body and the
Intake Manifold. Check and change the O-ring that links the throttle body to the intake manifold when you are installing the throttle body. Wipe the pushing areas where the throttle body and intake manifold touch, then put the new O-ring in and fix the throttle body properly onto the manifold. Wrap the housings with the gasket, place the three mounting bolts in and tighten them to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.) torque. After that, reattach the control cables, electrical connectors and required vacuum lines and then put in the air plenum.
