After that, slide the axle shaft holding the bearing into both the tube and the backing plate, with a new O-ring on the axle. Gently press the O-ring over the backing plate and push the bearing through until it shows on the outside. Slide a new O-ring on the axle bearing and fit the axle into the axle tube, pushing it through. Tighten the axle flange nuts down to 119 Nm (88 ft. lbs.) and attach the speed sensors in the flange of the axle tube. The last step is to put in the calipers and rotors.
