    As for the Idle Air Control (IAC) the motor is located on the backside of the (throttle) body. First, you will have to remove the two mounting bolts, take the IAC motor off the throttle body, then to remove it disconnect the electrical connector from the IAC motor. In order to install, sit the IAC motor onto the throttle body and fasten down by torquing the two mounting bolts to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Also attach the air cleaner tube to the throttle body and finally reconnect the electrical connector.

    It is necessary to take out the air duct and the air resonator box on the throttle body before you can disconnect the electrical cord from the IAC motor. After that, take off the two bolts (screws) at the top and carefully remove the IAC motor from the throttle body. Push up the IAC motor so it sits atop the throttle body and fasten the two bolts (screws) with a torque of 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Link the electrical connector and put the air cleaner duct/air box back in place on the throttle body.
