This component, also called the fuel gauge sender or fuel level sensor and the float assembly is found on the side of the fuel pump module which sits in the fuel tank. Before removing the unit, you must take out the fuel tank and the fuel pump module. Lift the spring tab and the fuel level sensor will be released from the pump module.
