How to Remove and Install a Battery Sensor on Jeep Liberty?

Start by taking out the battery from below, disconnecting the sensor harness plug near the engine and then prying the sensor straight up from its hole in the battery tray. First, aim the pigtail harness rope through the hole in the upper part of the battery tray. Next, press the sensor where it should go, reconnect the other end of the harness and lastly install the battery as if the sensor was not there.
