Remove the power steering pressure switch by disconnecting the electrical connector then place a small container or shop towel under the switch as you remove it to catch excess fluid before removing it using a back up wrench on the power steering line to avoid bending. Install the power steering switch into the power steering line securing to 9.6 Nm (85 inch lbs.) (B) and re install the high pressure power steering hose. Turn the ignition on but do not start the engine, reconnect the electrical connector to the switch and check that the power steering fluid level both on the pressure side at the fitting on the end of the pump shaft and on the return side at the bend in the high pressure line. Last, activate the engine and, once more, break down the power steering fluid levels and add sufficient, if need be.
