Start by blocking the air bag system you see on some cars by extracting the battery's negative cable, disabling the air bag capacitor for two minutes before working inside the car. Begin with taking off the wire connector from the blend-air door motor and then remove the screws holding the motor to the housing, so you can remove the motor. Install the new blend-air door motor over the actuator shaft on the unit, hold it in place with the screws tightened to 1 Nm (10 in. lbs.), reconnect the electric connector and lastly reconnect the negative battery cable.
