2000 Dodge Dakota Brake Disc Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Brake Disc on 2000 Dodge Dakota?
A: When working on service and fixing the brake disc, you should support the lifted vehicle, then take off the wheel and tire assembly. After that, remove the brake caliper and clear off the rubber retainers that hold the wheel studs, so you can detach the disc. You should place the disc hub and hold it tight with the retainers before mounting the brake caliper again. At this point, put the wheel and tire back together, pull away the support and lower the car. Depress the brake pedal several times so the brake shoes remain securely in place.
