2001 Dodge Dakota Brake Disc Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Brake Disc on 2001 Dodge Dakota?
A: First, raise your vehicle and support it and next remove the wheel and tire assembly to start servicing the brake disc. Once your vehicle is on the floor stand, pull off the brake caliper, together with the retainers on the wheel studs, to remove the disc. First, you should put the disc hub and retainers on, then come the brake caliper. Then, fit the wheel and tire assembly in place, take off the support and slowly bring the vehicle down. Lastly, press the brake pedal a few times to allow the rims to press the brake pads firmly.
