How is the Tone Wheel for the Front Speed Sensor Located and Replaced on 2-Wheel and 4-Wheel Drive on 2000 Dodge Dakota?

The tone wheel for front speed sensing is built into the hub/bearing of the front axle on 2-wheel drive models, but is instead in the hub/bearing housing for 4-wheel drive vehicles. Because the tone wheel is not repairable, you have to replace the entire hub or bearing at the same time. Equipment from the Transmission and Drivetrain, Drive axles, Bearings and Joints, Wheel Hub will need part numbers for the service procedure.
