2000 Dodge Dakota Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2000 Dodge Dakota?
A: The IMT sensor is found inside the intake manifold. First, take off the air duct at the throttle body, second, unplug the electrical connection on the sensor and finally take out the sensor from the intake manifold. Before starting, first ensure the displacement is between 2,000 and 2,600 cc. Next, mount the sensor to your intake manifold using 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs. of torque), attach the electrical connector and reattach the air duct at the throttle body.
