  A: Before beginning any service on air bag components, always disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for two minutes. Disconnect the battery's negative cable first and then eliminate the center support bracket fixed to the instrument panel. Following that, take out the screw holding the ground eyelet to the left side of the instrument panel cable to the floor panel tunnel.
