How to Maintain a Mirror Switch on 2000 Dodge Durango?

The first step to service power mirror switch is to disconnect and isolate the battery's negative cable. Pull the knob on the power mirror switch control backward to remove it from its place on the stem. Take out the nut holding the power mirror switch to the driver side door trim panel, then lift the trim panel out from the inside of the driver side front door. Draw the small cover on the inner door panel back towards you and then disconnect the power mirror wire harness connector. After that, remove the power mirror switch from the door trim panel and follow the steps in reverse for installation.
