Should any tappet or cylinder bore be scored, scuffed or have sticking problems, go one size larger on the ream and change the tappet to the matching oversize type. When putting things back in place, insert the tappets and place the push rods using oil on all surfaces and ensure that the oil feed hole in each tappet body points upwards. Attach the aligning yokes so the Arrow points toward the camshaft, place the yoke retainer, tighten the bolts to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.) and put back the intake manifold.
