How to Service and Repair a Timing Belt Tensioner on 2001 Chrysler Sebring?

In order to service the timing belt tensioner, disassemble the timing belt and idler pulley and use Special Tool 6847 to hold the camshaft sprocket and remove the bolts. Disassemble the rear timing belt cover, take off the tensioner assembly and install it back with the correct alignment and torque requirements. Lastly, replace timing belt and camshaft sprockets.
