How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2001 Dodge Neon?

With the engine cold and the level of coolant below the cylinder head, start serving the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor. Then, remove the electrical connector from the coolant sensor and take out the sensor. During installation, make sure to fasten the coolant sensor snugly at 18 Nm (165 inch lbs.) first. After that, attach the electrical connector to the sensor and complete the cooling system fill.
