Q: How to Service an Oxygen Sensor on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?
A: In order to service oxygen sensor, make sure that the engine is cool. Lift the car, unplug the O2S sensor wire and a removal tool is used to remove the sensor. Wipe the exhaust pipe threads, screw the new sensor firmly in, ensuring that it is not tightened beyond 30 Nm, and reattach the wire.
