Unplug the power seat wire harness connector from the switch connector receptacle and remove the side shield from the seat area. After that, unscrew the two screws that hold the power seat switch inside the seat cushion side shield and remove the switch. Install the new power seat switch inside the side shield of the seat cushion. Following this, insert the two screws through the mounting holes, making sure they are tightened to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Place the seat cushion side shield and power seat switch unit onto the seat cushion's outboard side, reconnect the power seat wire to its connector receptacle and tighten the three side shield screws into the seat cushion frame.
