  A: The first thing to do is to pull the rear wiper arm support up and away from the rubber ramp underneath the glass on the right side of the liftgate. Move the rear wiper arm all the way up to turn the hinge in the over-center direction, keeping the wiper blade and element well off the back of the car. Slide your finger under the tip of the arm to push the latch release, then slide the wiper blade in the opposite direction. Remove the looped part at the upper end of the wiper arm out of the slot in the block where the wiper blade is mounted, being sure not to let the wiper arm go back when the arm spring rubs against the liftgate or glass which might hurt the vehicle.
