How to Remove and Install an Ignition Coil for a 2.4L Engine on 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

There is an electronic coil pack on the valve cover for the 2.4L engine. Always detach the negative battery cable first, unplug the connector to the coil pack next and lastly undo the mounting nuts to get the coil pack out. When installing, lay the coil pack on the valve cover and tighten all bolts to 11.8 Nm (105 ± 20 in. lbs.) Move the spark plug cables to the new coil pack, hooking them to the towers with the exact numbers that show which cylinder those cables go to. In the end, attach the minus/negative battery cable back to its post.
