How to Effectively Service and Repair a Fuel Injector on 2002 Dodge Dakota?

When servicing and repairing the fuel injector, first let the fuel pressure out, as it stays under constant pressure even when the engine is not running. First, remove the air cleaner assembly and afterward, take out the fuel injector rail assembly. After that, detach all the clips holding the injector(s) in place and remove them from the fuel rail. To install the fuel rail, place a little clean engine oil on each of the fuel injector O-rings. Install the injectors and their actual clips onto the fuel rail, then put the fuel rail assembly back. Afterwards, replace the air cleaner, start the vehicle and look for any leakages.
