How to Service and Repair a Windshield Washer Pump on 2002 Dodge Dakota?

In order to maintain the windshield washer pump, unscrew the battery negative and the headlamp wire harness. Empty the washer fluid, empty the pump of the inlet nipple in the grommet and dispose of the grommet. Install a new grommet, reconnect pump, refill the reservoir, and reconnect the battery.
