  A: To work on the rear parking brake cable, lift and support the car, take out the rear wheel assemblies and raise the tire off the ground. Detach the right cable from the tensioner, loose the tensioner adjuster nut, slide the housing of the left cable past the left connector and remove that connector. Feed both cables through the bracket, remove the left and right cable retainers from the stabilizer bar retainers and then remove the cable from the differential housing. Following that, unscrew the brake drums and take out each cable from the park brake lever. Press the tab holders on every cable housing retainer at the brake support plate, then remove the cables from the plates. To fix the cable housings, put the housing through the brake support hole and have the tab at the end catch before pulling it into position. Simply pull the end of the cable, then flush with it the handle you just installed to confirm the park brake is secure. Place the brake drums next, put the small retainers on the right and push the cable housing into the spot on the brake bracket. Attach the left cable to the cable connector, insert the right side's housing into the left connector and fix it into the tensioner. Proceed to place the wheel and tire assemblies, complete the park brake adjustment, uninstall the support and put your vehicle down.
