Raising and supporting the vehicle first, next loosen the nut that tightens the rear parking brake cable. Lift the rubber cap at the right tensioner and pull the cable housing through the left cable connector to soon remove the left connector. Pat the wires up through the bracket, after this remove the retainer from the right cable and then attach the cable to the differential housing. Pull the tabs of all the housing retainers at the brake support plate and release each cable from the park brake lever. As you install the cable, pass the hook on the end of the cable through the park brake lever, so that the housing locks properly. Squeeze the cable end spring, fit the cable end assembly into the reaction arm and when the retainer tabs lock, release the spring. Make sure the cable is connected to the park brake lever before you connect the right mounting retainers. Slide the cable housing into the cable bracket, connect the left cable to the cable connector and hook the right cable into the tensioner after you have pushed that housing through the left cable connector. After that, complete the park brake adjustment, remove the support and allow the car to lower.
