How to Maintain Your Rear Shock Absorber on 2002 Dodge Ram 3500?

First, lift the automobile and block up the immobile axle to work on the rear shock absorber. After that, undo the bolt and flag nut from the crossmember bracket, the bolt and nut from the axle bracket and finally remove the rear shock absorber from the vehicle. Install the shock absorber in the bracket, bolt each bracket to the shock, secure the flag nut on the top bolt and use the nut on the lower bolt. With both bolts/nuts fastened to 136 Nm (100 ft. lbs.), support the vehicle and back the jack out, then let the truck drop.
