How to Install a Parking Brake Cable for the Front on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Insert the cable into the parking brake lever bracket and the equalizer bracket first when installing the cable. After that, install the front cable on the floor pan with retainer nuts. Hold the front cable at both ends behind the parking brake lever and equalizer and attach the front carpet back in place. Pull the lever to release the lock out spring and then put in the center console. Drop the rear carpet cover and then flip down the rear seat finally.
