How to Replace a Piston and Connecting Rod in an Engine on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To replace piston and connecting rod, remove engine components, drain oil and remove oil pan. Mark and remove bearing caps and push the piston assemblies up. Clean and oil cylinder bores, piston rings and assemble using compressor. Reinstall parts and fill the crankcase with oil.
