How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2002 Jeep Liberty?

To service the ambient temperature sensor, open your car's hood, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the car's grille. Disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor, remove the retaining screw and take out the sensor. For installation, attach the new sensor, reattach the electrical connector, set up the grille again and reattach the battery cable.
