  A: The first thing to do is remove the cylinder head cover, fuel rail and spark plugs to get to the rocker arm assembly. Spin the engine so that the camshaft lobe on the follower is located on the base circle, being sure that the piston is at least 6.3 mm (0.25 in.) below TDC. If you plan to reuse cam follower assemblies, note where they go in the initial assembly. With the use of Special Tools 8215 and 8436, drop down the valve assembly slightly and remove the rocker arm, making sure to remove as many nearby brackets and components as needed for the tools. Check the rocker arm and change it if you discover wear or damage. Before installing, please lubricate the rocker arm with clean engine oil and use Special Tools 8215 and 8436 to gently push the valve assembly down and set the rocker arm on both the lifter and valve stem. After installing the first rocker arm, repeat this for all of them and don't forget to reattach the spark plugs, fuel rail and cylinder cover.
