How to Service and Repair a Harmonic Balancer and Crankshaft Pulley on 2002 Jeep Liberty?

Dismantling and repairing the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley needs you to remove the drive belts and bolt holding the crankshaft damper. Take the damper out with Special Tool 3-Jaw Puller 1026 and Insert 6827-A. Install the crankshaft vibration damper with an M12 1.75 x 150 mm bolt, washer, thrust bearing and nut supplied in Special Tool 6792. After that, add the crankshaft vibration damper bolt and tighten it to 142 Nm (105 ft. lbs.) and then place the accessory drive belts back in.
