How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?

To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, you need to drain the cooling system until there is less coolant in the cylinder head. Disconnect the sensor from the thermostat housing and put sealant on the new sensor, install the new sensor, tighten it to 11 Nm, connect the wire and refill the cooling system.
