2002 Jeep Wrangler Fuse Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How Can the Fuse Be Installed and Removed from the Power Distribution Center on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Full electrical function in the vehicle can only be restored at the dealer by installing the Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) fuse which was removed from fuse cavity #15 during shipment. When replacing the fuse, face the vehicle's front toward you, open the PDC by its latch and place the IOD fuse in the cavity marked #15. After taking out the fuse, place its terminal blades into the rough spot #11 on the PDC and snap the cover shut. To install, first make sure the ignition is OFF, open the PDC cover, unlatch it and take the stored IOD fuse from fuse cavity #11. Bring the IOD fuse terminal blades into contact with the receptacles inside fuse cavity #15, lower the fuse into the cavity and push down on it with your thumb.
