To repair the steering knuckle, take a car up on a jack, remove the wheel, caliper, rotor, shield, and ABS sensor. Remove tie-rod and stabilizer link and remove hub/bearing. Separate the ball joints, install the new knuckle and reassemble the various components, tightening nuts and installing parts as necessary.
