How to Remove and Install a MAP Sensor on 2003 Dodge Durango?

The MAP sensor on the front of the intake manifold is sealed by an O-ring and must be taken out and reinstalled following special steps. First, remove the connection from the sensor, clean the spot surrounding the sensor, loosen the two bolts on the sensor mount and pull out the sensor. When installing, look at the O-ring and check for any rips or tears once the mounting hole is clean. Manually fit the sensor into the manifold, attach the mounting bolts, tighten them to 3 N.m (25 in. lbs.) before the electrical connector is put back on.
