How to Replace an Oxygen Sensor on 2003 Dodge Durango?

It is important to wait until your engine is cool, since the exhaust pipeline and other parts become quite hot during use. Raise the vehicle, disconnect the wire connector from the O(2)S sensor and do not pull on the wire that goes into the sensor. Use a special tool to take out and put in your O(2)S sensor. Since the threads on the installation parts are pre-coated with anti-seize compound, no additional compound is necessary when installing the new O(2)S sensor. Attach the O(2)S sensor and tighten it to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.), after that attach the sensor wire connector and lower the car.
