2003 Dodge Durango Ignition Lock Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install an Ignition Lock Cylinder on 2003 Dodge Durango?
A: To remove the ignition lock cylinder, insert your key into the ignition, remove the battery's negative cable and take off the top and bottom parts of the steering column. Put the car in PARK, find and hold the retaining pin that's next to the key cylinder assembly, turn the key to RUN and pull out the key cylinder by pressing the retaining pin in. When installing, position the key cylinder in the housing beside the ignition switch and press it in until you hear a click. After that, slip the new shroud on the engine and reattach the battery.
