    A: To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, drain the coolant under the cylinder head and make sure that the engine is cold. Disassemble the electric connector of sensor, take off the sensor, lay the new sensor and screw it, 18 Nm (165 in. lbs.) tighten, reconnect the electric connector, and replenish the cooling system.
