2003 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Blower Motor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain a Blower Motor on 2003 Dodge Sprinter 3500?
A: Always begin a rear blower motor service by unattaching and isolating the battery negative cable. Unhook the rear window bulb from the duct hole, unplug the dome light's connection after that and extract the dome light from inside the vehicle. Then, pull out the six fasteners and remove the roof duct from the vehicle, before removing the five screws at the front of the evaporator panel. Should your vehicle have a motion sensor, take it away from the evaporator panel, remove its wire harness connector and remove it from your car. After that, undo the three push-pin evaporator panel fasteners in the rear and remove the rear evaporator panel from the car. Pull off the blower motor harness and after removing the four screws, move the blower motor out from the rear evaporator housing. When installing the blower motor, place it into the rear evaporator housing. Secure the motor with retaining screws and tighten them to a value of 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.). After the blower motor wire harness connector is together, place back the rear evaporator panel using the three push-pin fasteners. If there is a motion sensor, attach the wire harness from inside and put the sensor back in its placement on the evaporator panel. Screw in the five front screws to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.), replace the roof duct panel and secure it with six push-pin fasteners. After that, link the wire harness connector to the dome light and insert the unit into the rear roof duct panel before you attach the battery negative cable.
