How to Repair and Maintain a Brake Light Switch on 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to fix the brake light switch, one needs to take off the steering column cover and lower trim panel. Turn the switch in an anti clock wise direction to unlock and remove. Unscrew the harness and screw in the new switch with the bracket and clockwise. Use the brake pedal to make an adjustment on the plunger.
